| Somewhat of a PSA - if anyone is considering Corbeau seats with their 300ZX specific brackets, I'm going to advise against it. This started with me switching from Sparco to Corbeau seats because my old Sparco's did not have the provision for the submarine belt. I figured going to a suede seat would be a nice addition to my updated interior. Out of the box, the fitment of these brackets absolutely sucks. You can see here I simply placed the bracket minus seat

Here's where it gets silly - You can clearly see there is a good 1/4 gap between the bracket and the factory front mounts

When I contacted Corbeau, they told me to die grind the rear holes to bring the fronts closer, and to install the bolts/nuts loosely and then tighten them all up. This is all fine and dandy when we're only worried about the bracket but the flaw in this is that the geometry of the bracket changes so much when you do this is causes extreme bind on the sliders, causing them to work very poorly, or not at all. Moving on to the next issue with the bracket, the holes drilled in the bracket to allow the sliders to bolt to them were not drilled close enough. This meant the sliders would be angled inwards, again causing the sliders to bind up. You can see here on both sides the bolts holding the brackets/sliders to the seats were hitting the rails allowing the sliders to not work.

To fix this, I had to grind a little bit around the holes to allow the brackets/sliders to sit right and allow proper clearance on each side of the allen head bolts. Now we move on to the last issue, which really irks me. The seat sits lopsided after all was in place. It is a little more visible in person but you can use the roll cage hoop as a level reference and the "Corbeau" emblem is slanting downwards to the left.
When you examine the floorboard, you can clearly see the rear most stud closest to the trans tunnel (on both D and P sides) sits lower than then outer stud. When I sat the bracket down on a level floor, the ears sat flush with the floor. Sorry for the long winded rant but paying $130+ dollars for a vehicle specific bracket (per side) only to have to put an entire evening into modifying it for a crappy finished install is less than desirable
